LINEAR GUIDEWAYS Franke FD series Industry standard size linear guideways combine low weight, high speeds & accuracies with minimal maintenance. Sealed needle roller bearings give equal load capacity in all directions & unlike recirculating ball/roller type guides do not need periodic re-grease or oil replenishment. Available from stock in the UK in standard & corrosion free types in all sizes franke linear guides can be supplied in special constructions for Vacuum, High temperature (200 C) non-magnetic, & are approved for class 1000 clean room use as standard. Franke LDD Slim bearings use ground raceways contained within a steel housing allowing easier fitting as a pre-finished bearing element. The bearing cross sections conforms to international standards & are available from 5.125” to 26” BPCD.
Franke LED bearing elements use ground or profiled round or double profile raceways with plastic cages & retained balls. Special configurations for surface coating options available on request. Sizes from 100mm to 1500mm BPCD are available.
Franke LEG bearing elements use a 2 ring profiled raceway with plastic cage & retained balls The compact design & size allows you to use significantly smaller mounting envelopes than deep groove ball bearing designs & is available from 5mm to 500mm BPCD.
Franke LER bearing elements have unground raceways contained within a rectangular profile & use a retained ballcage, special coatings & cages are available. Standard sizes from 400mm to 1500mm are available. Easy fitting, competitive prices, & short leadtimes apply to this range.
Franke LKB Ball Cages are available from 5mm to 20mm ball diameters as continuous reels up to 50 metres or cut to your required lengths for use in bespoke linear & rotary bearing applications enabling extremely compact & cost effective solutions where standard catalogue products cannot be used.
